CRO Antibody Analytics partners with online research firm Science Exchange

Antibody Analytics, a U.K.-based bioanalytics CRO, is teaming with Science Exchange to offer its surface plasmon resonance (SPR) services to a global research community.

SPR is a bioanalytical tool used to analyze aspects of molecule binding and interactions.

Science Exchange says that more than 30 organizations, including some of the world’s top biopharma companies, use its services to select and manage outsourced R&D services from a network of more than 2,500 prequalified providers.

“Antibody Analytics believes that drug developers should have the best data, and patients deserve the best drugs possible, so by offering SPR analysis that is not only comprehensive but fast, efficient and affordable, our customers know they are in safe hands,” Elizabeth Iorns, Science Exchange’s chief executive, said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Science Exchange struck a deal to provide its outsourced R&D marketplace to startups supported by the Venture Catalyst arm under the University of California, Davis. That news came close on the heels of the company announcing it would help Agilent Technologies build a drug R&D service shopping portal for its website.
