ValGenesis, Mepharma partner on services for Middle East, North Africa CROs

ValGenesis, which manages digital validation and approval processes for CROs, is teaming up with Dubai-based Mepharma to provide a wider range of service offerings for drug development and clinical trial sites in the Middle East and North Africa.

Together, the two companies plan to expand next-generation digital validation and compliance solutions into the region, they said in a May 2 release. Financial terms of the collaboration weren’t disclosed.

Mepharma, which was founded in 2019, is known for its regulatory consulting services as well as pharmacovigilance, good practice, due diligence and auditing for pharma, biotech and CRO companies.

Santa Clara, California-based ValGenesis, through its Validation Lifecycle Management Systems, is used by drug developers to enforce compliance and enable standardization with digital, risk-based validation software.

“Together we provide well-defined, robust validation lifecycle management strategies and solutions that enable companies to adhere to the most stringent global regulatory requirements,” Bo Olsen, ValGenesis' senior vice president, said in the release.
