The San Francisco area may have one of the biggest biotech clusters in the world, but it lags behind many areas in terms of public support while leading in bureaucratic entanglements, according to the industry trade group for the region. As a result, BayBio is reorganizing and devoting more of its resources to getting its message heard in Sacramento.
