Sanofi unleashes iPhone app for heparin dosing

Sanofi's unit in Spain has unleashed a mobile app called CLX Dosis for calculating doses of its anticoagulant Clexane (enoxaparin). As PMLive reports, the French drug giant ($SNY) has developed the dosing calculator for Apple's ($APPL) iPhone and iPad as well as devices that operate with Google's ($GOOG) Android software. The app release comes as Sanofi faces new rivals in the market for anticoagulants such as Xarelto from Bayer and Praxada from Boehringer Ingelheim. Sanofi has used free apps and digital tech to separate itself from the pack before, providing the tools to both patients and doctors. Article
