Alliance Pharma names 4 to C-suite positions amid expansion

Alliance Pharma has expanded its executive team with the addition of four C-suite hires as the bioanalytical services company continues its growth spurt.

The recruitment spree follows Alliance’s July acquisition of U.K.-based CRO Drug Development Solutions for an undisclosed sum. The U.S. company is also slated to open a 20,000-square-foot laboratory in Brisbane, Australia, in November that will support preclinical and clinical testing.

Among the leadership hires is Jean Pierre Boutrand as chief operating officer. He brings more than 25 years experience in life sciences laboratory operations, digital technologies, medical device innovation and pharmaceutical development.

Boutrand will be joined by Vito Saccente as chief commercial officer, who is tasked with a global restructuring of the commercial process and organization structure to improve customer experience.

The remainder of the hires consist of Chief Financial Officer Glenn Weber, whose varied career includes stints in the tire and global chemicals industries, and Chief People Officer Susan Woolley.

“Alliance is growing rapidly, and these experienced leaders ensure continued growth and support for our customers’ drug discovery and development programs,” Alliance CEO Patrick Bennett said in a release.
