New crowdfunding platform set to launch new biotechs

"You're not going to get a frog if you don't invest in the poliwogg." So says Gregory Simon, the CEO of Poliwogg, a new crowdfunding initiative for biotech, in an interview with Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News. The idea here is to get crowdfunding to seed a company, which can get ramped up to the point that VCs can step in. "We fund these companies; they get across the 'valley of death' one way or another.
