Contract manufacturing should see a boom abroad

It may not come as a surprise to most that original equipment manufacturers are expected to turn to more contract manufacturing in the near future, but more so that they're looking to medical CMOs with footholds outside the U.S. In his Plastics News article about the future of medical CMO mergers and acquisitions, Mike Verespej looks at the draw to locations like Costa Rica and Asia, which should see a spike in manufacturing plants, while citing experts who say company growth can only be obtained by making an impact in markets abroad.
