Teleflex snags 510(k) for pressure-monitoring catheter

Fresh off its purchase of MIT spin-out Semprus Biosciences, Teleflex ($TFX) has received a new indication for its ArrowAdvantage catheter, getting 510(k) clearance to indicate the device for central venous pressure monitoring. The peripherally-inserted catheter is already cleared for delivery of medications, and Teleflex said in a statement that the new indication will help expand the tech's market share and make the platform more attractive to physicians.
