Medtronic picks exec to lead Covidien integration

In the wake of Medtronic's ($MDT) hefty $43 billion Covidien ($COV) acquisition, the company is gearing up by naming a new chief integration officer, Geoff Martha, who is an SVP for strategy and business development. Martha's main goal will be to provide a link between the merging medical device companies.
