W. L. Gore has unveiled the PROcedure rehearsal studio--medical simulation technology developed in partnership with Simbionix--at the Vascular Interventional Advances 2011 Conference in Las Vegas. The software allows endovascular specialists to create a patient-specific, 3D anatomical model based on a CT with the purpose of simulating, analyzing and evaluating for preoperative treatment options.
