GE launches RCT alliance; Ventana unveils its iScan HT slide scanner prototype;

> GE has launched the Research Circle Technology to create an alliance between the company's scientists and leading universities worldwide. RCT will provide for easy access to GE's organic technology in an open innovation structure, according to a company release. GE statement

> Roche unit Ventana Medical Systems has unveiled its iScan HT slide scanner prototype at the 2011 College of American Pathologists annual meeting.
