The FDA issued a safety alert to the public and health care providers about Stryker's ($SYK) Neptune waste management system--a product line that helps drain fluid from the chest or body. Regulators' alert covers a number of products in the Neptune line, and their action takes place a week after the company launched a Class I recall because one patient was seriously injured and another died.
