Patent disputes involving big names can involve big settlements. And a decision in favor of Boston Scientific ($BSX) over Johnson & Johnson ($JNJ) unit Cordis is no exception. Natick, MA-based Boston Sci scored a cool $40 million ruling last month in its favor against Cordis--twice what a jury awarded it in May 2011.
