Acutus Medical closes $28M round for arrhythmia mapping device

Acutus Medical has closed its $28 million Series B funding round. Plans are in place to use the money to back development of the company's 3-D mapping system designed to spot the source of irregular heartbeats and guide treatment. OrbiMed Advisors and GE Ventures joined previous investors Index Ventures and Advent Life Sciences in the round. Acutus announced it had raised most of the financing back in June. Item
