Researchers in South Korea have published details of their attempts to create a drug-delivering, glucose-monitoring microneedle patch. Based on limited data from tests in mice, the team think the graphene-based patch could analyze sweat to measure glucose levels, wirelessly send the data to a smartphone and transcutaneously administer metformin as needed.
