Software updated for cancer collaborators

The OnCore clinical research management system "sports a sleek new user interface" and incorporates hundreds of enhancement requests provided by 20 research organizations, according to developer PercipEnz Technologies, a maker of clinical and translational research management software

Version 9.0, like its predecessors, was guided by collaborative projects in which researchers from various OnCore centers develop and enhance system functionality.

One such project, which originated at the Compliance Collaborative Initiative, resulted in the new audit console, says PercipEnz, in an announcement. The new functionality allows centers to conduct internal audits of clinical research records managed both within and outside of OnCore.

In addition to collaborative initiatives, some enhancements stem from users via Top 5 program. In this program each of the user research organizations submits its top enhancement requests. PercipEnz implements as many as it can in the subsequent version of the software.
