Chalk up another drug development plus for the Sharepoint platform. Digital signature solutions provider ARX has teamed with InnovoCommerce, a software maker specializing in governance, risk management, and compliance solutions based on the Microsoft platform.
The solutions provider now offers ARX's CoSign product in its innovoPoint clinical and investigator portals and its life sciences document-management solution. The document-management offering follows a trial of the signing technology in InnovoCommerce's internal deployment of its own solution, innovoPoint DM. Employees use it to affix digital signatures to PDF files of SOPs and quality documents that have been converted from Word.
Earlier this month, two biopharma service providers announced separate Sharepoint document management implementations. Quotient Bioresearch in the UK automated document sharing across four sites and set up a 21CFR Part 11 solution for electronic records and signatures. Separately, consultancy PCS selected Mission3 for a SharePoint Part 11-compliant document and submission management tools.
CoSign, too, can be used in 21 Part 11-compliant processes.
