ValGenesis has launched the vDoc360 connector for EMC Documentum v.6.5, for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. The vDoc software/ Documentum v.6.5 combo gives Documentum users an end-to-end solution for secured, paperless validation lifecycle management and central storage of validation documents.
The offering provides global access, retrieval and storage, helping to leverage Documentum's real-time reporting and search functionality, according to an announcement.
Users can extend Documentum's access control and audit capabilities to corporate validation data and documents. Administrators can apply federated retention policies to unify management practices across all documents and record types for consistency of compliance to regulatory requirements.
ValGenesis last month announced Microsoft SharePoint Server integration with ValGenesis 2.0 for the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. Like the vDec360/Documentum v.6.5 release, the SharePoint integration provides global access, retrieval and storage of corporate validation data.
