Biomax Informatics expands operations in the US

MADISON, Wisconsin & PLANEGG, Germany--()--Biomax Informatics AG, the leader in knowledge management for the life sciences, today announced the expansion of operations in the United States and the opening of its US headquarters near Madison, Wisconsin.

Biomax has opened an office in New Glarus, Wisconsin and named Jonathan M. Sheridan as new CEO to head up Biomax Informatics, Inc. with responsibility for the Biomax business in the Americas and Japan. Biomax also has offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The move comes as the company has received an increasing number of requests from US-based companies for its BioXM™ knowledge management solution. Biomax CEO, Dr. Klaus Heumann said, "There has been such a strong demand for the BioXM platform in the US that we have accelerated our plans for overseas expansion."

He highlighted Sheridan's expertise in sales and business development in the biotechnology industry and the commercialization of life science products. "Jonathan's experience gives him the necessary know-how to give our clients and partners on the ground support and help them achieve operational excellence in fast-paced fields like systems medicine and synthetic biology."
