Clario joins workplace diversity, equity and inclusion movement

Clario, a clinical trial tech firm, pledged its commitment to increase workplace equality by joining the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion workplace movement.

The company’s chief executive, Christopher Fikry, M.D., signed onto the group of more than 2,300 fellow CEOs who are focused on four key actions to generate “measurable action and meaningful change” in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

The pledge represents Clario’s diversity and environmental sustainability initiatives launched in 2020.

“Our technologies can help our customers increase diversity in clinical trials by enabling access to a broader array of patients,” Fikry said in a statement. “At the same time, we are committed to supporting DEI strategies for our own staff to ensure Clario is a great place to work and a destination employer.”

Fikry took over the reins of Clario in July, replacing Joe Eazor, who retired from the company but remains on the board of directors.

The company recently inked a deal with fellow CRO ZIDDI, based in Belgium, that allows access to Clario’s randomization and trial supply management platform for remote, hybrid and traditional studies.
