Tenex Health Appoints Doug Kohrs as Executive Chairman of the Board

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Sept. 24, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tenex Health
today announced that Doug Kohrs, a current member of the Board of
Directors, will assume the role of Executive Chairman effective
immediately. Board Member Tommy Thompson, former governor of Wisconsin
and former Secretary of the United States Department of Health and
Human Services said of Kohrs' appointment, "The company has
successfully proven the clinical and commercial strength of the TX
System. As we focus on broader market expansion, Doug's extensive
experience as a medical device CEO will provide significant benefit to

Mr. Kohrs brings significant operating experience to his new role as
Executive Chairman at Tenex Health. He has over 30 years experience in
the medical device industry and has spent 15 of those years as a chief
executive of public and private companies. Doug has formerly served as
CEO of Tornier, CEO of American Medical Systems, and was a founding
member of Spine-Tech. Over his successful career in medical devices he
has also served on the Board of Directors of fifteen different medical
device companies.
