Bioscientia, one of the largest diagnostics companies in Germany, has been acquired by Sonic Healthcare, which valued the company at €190 million. BioScientia operates 15 regional labs in Germany and other hospital-based facilities. The company was spun off by Ingelheim in 1995. Sonic Healthcare says the deal greatly enhances the company's global reach. Report
