SPOTLIGHT: Myogen inks $100M licensing deal


Myogen has licensed its therapy for pulmonary arterial hypertension to GlaxoSmithKline for $20 million up front and $80 million in potential milestones. Myogen's selective endothelin receptor antagonist is currently in Phase III development. Analysts noted that a $20 million up front payment for a Phase III therapy is not exceptional.
