Scientists stand by Vioxx research

A group of 11 scientists whose research work on Vioxx has been called into question by the editors of The New England Journal of Medicine are standing by their report on the drug. The editors responded with a new expression of concern, stating that their report "did not accurately reflect the potential for serious cardiovascular toxicity with Vioxx."
