PHT, Almac and Medidata Demonstrate New Level of eClinical Efficiencies at Data Integration Seminars

eClinical leaders deliver a strategy to improve efficiencies and cost savings in trial sponsors' eClinical data management

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Three eClinical technology leaders will host educational seminars next week in Princeton, New Jersey, and Waltham, Massachusetts, on the topic of rapid data sharing and integration strategies that enable sponsors to leverage clinical trial data with greater speed.

Almac Clinical Technologies, Medidata Solutions and PHT Corporation are sponsoring the seminars to follow up on their successful "Follow the Integrated Data Trail" demonstration unveiled at the DIA Annual Meeting in June. Sponsors use the Almac /PHT/Medidata data integration approach to more quickly access a comprehensive view of patient data in one system.

The breakfast seminars will take place in Princeton on Wednesday, October 21 and Waltham on Thursday, October 22.

Clinical trial professionals will learn how existing integrations of Almac IXRSTM (Interactive Voice and Web Response Systems), PHT's LogPad® and SitePad® (electronic patient reported outcomes) product suites, and the Medidata Rave® electronic data capture, management and reporting solution are advantageous to global clinical trials involving:

Randomization of patients
Complex or lengthy PRO questionnaires
Qualification data to accelerate adaptive design, or
Data from patient medical records.
The seminars will discuss experience-based best practices for leveraging CDISC and other industry standards to share data across leading data systems. Attendees will learn how they can eliminate duplicative data entry into multiple systems while saving time and reducing manual errors; allow sites and sponsors to see integrated IVR/IWV, ePRO and EDC real-time patient data within one system for more efficient monitoring of subject data; reduce data management workload and associated costs for sponsors and speed time to database lock at study close.

PHT will instruct attendees on how to leverage eClinical investments in the three systems plus gain expertise of primary patient endpoint data. As integration partners, PHT, Medidata Solutions and Almac Clinical Technologies will demonstrate and verify how their integrated eClinical solutions enable clinical trial efficiencies.
