Generic drug distributors Pharmaceutical Formulations of Edison, New Jersey, has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 and agreed to sell its assets to Leiner Health Products for $23 million with certain payables. Its subsidiary, Konsyl Pharmaceuticals, is not part of the bankruptcy or sale.
