MassBio touts new biotech jobs, bigger pay

The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council is touting new figures that shows a big boost in the number of biotech jobs in the state. And they say those jobs are paying very well. The council claims that the industry now employs 46,000 people, a 42.6 percent jump since 2001. Those jobs pay an average of $89,829, well above the state average of $51,000. Report
