LifeScience Alley Names Shaye Mandle EVP and COO, Hires New State Government Relations Manager

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LifeScience Alley, the nation's largest state-based life science trade association, announces the promotion of Shaye Mandle to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In his new role, Mr. Mandle, who has served as vice president of government and affiliate relations for the past year and a half, will focus on aligning internal operations with organizational strategy, while continuing to oversee federal advocacy efforts and key external relationships.

"Shaye has been an asset to our team and has raised the profile of our members in Minnesota and in Washington, D.C.," states Dale Wahlstrom, president and CEO of LifeScience Alley. In addition, LifeScience Alley has hired Genevieve Davila to serve as state government relations manager. Ms. Davila will be responsible for cultivating relationships with legislators at the Minnesota State House and Senate as well as leading advocacy efforts on behalf of LifeScience Alley and its members. Before joining the association, Ms. Davila spent four years at Messerli & Kramer, working in their government relations department with a variety of clients, including LifeScience Alley. Prior to that, she worked for Senator Kathy Saltzman at the Minnesota State Senate.
