GlaxoSmithKline is betting it can get Xenical approved as an over-the-counter weight loss therapy later this year. So far, the drug has been a disappointment, falling far short of the blockbuster status Roche had hoped for. GSK has bet $100 million that OTC status will give the therapy new life.
