Greer Appoints Terrance C. Coyne, M.D. as Chief Medical Officer and Expands Clinical and Medical Affairs Programs

Coyne, M.D. as chief medical officer. In this important role, Coyne will lead and oversee the planned expansion of Greer's medical and clinical affairs programs. The structure change is designed to bridge Greer's existing Research & Development and clinical affairs initiatives into a comprehensive, customer-centered medical and clinical affairs division to provide increased value and service to the medical community as well as the public.

Coyne brings more than 20 years of medical affairs experience in the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. He has been directly involved in all functions including preclinical, launch and post commercialization, R&D, clinical development and has served as product development leader with numerous New Drug Applications (NDAs) and their global equivalents. His experience spans multiple therapeutic categories including allergy, respiratory, anti-inflammatory and vaccines as well as drug technology. Prior to joining Greer, Coyne served as chief medical officer at Ventrus Biosciences, Encysive Pharmaceuticals and Metaphore Pharmaceuticals.
