GenoSpace Introduces Matthew Fischer as new Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Former Intuitive Surgical and Boston Scientific employee joins industry leader to further accelerate commercial growth

CAMBRIDGE, MA, July 30, 2015 — GenoSpace, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the interpretation and analysis of genomic and other biomedical data, today announced that Matthew Fischer has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Fischer joins GenoSpace from Intuitive Surgical, where he was responsible for growing da Vinci System capital sales, new surgical procedure adoption and patient engagement for both domestic and international markets. Most recently, Fischer was instrumental in developing the commercial teams covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India and developing novel US sales strategies in the context of the changing ACA environment. He has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership at high growth companies. Before joining Intuitive Surgical, he was a member of the commercial teams at Robert Half International and Boston Scientific.
