GE Healthcare is offering $436 million for Sweden's Biacore International, which provides protein interaction analysis to biopharma companies. Pfizer Health, which owns 41 percent of the company, has approved the deal along with a majority of other shareholders. The buyout offers shareholders a 35 percent premium. Biacore has about 300 workers around the globe.
