Dynogen Pharmaceuticals touted Phase II data on DDP733, an experimental therapy for irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. DDP733 achieved an overall clinical response rate of 54 percent in patients receiving a dose of 1.4 mg t.i.d. compared to a 15 percent clinical response rate for patients receiving placebo, a statistically significant response that met the trial's endpoint. A Phase IIb is slated to begin later this year.
