Coldstream Laboratories Inc. Names Director Of Formulation Development

Coldstream Laboratories, Inc., a provider of sterile drug product development and manufacturing services, has announced that Adrian Raiche, Ph.D. has joined the company as Director of Formulation Development.

In this position, Dr. Raiche will head the formulation development group at Coldstream and will oversee teams focusing on process and product development, lyophilization and scale-up activities for manufacturing in the company's sterile manufacturing facility.

Dr. Raiche brings to Coldstream expertise in numerous aspects of pharmaceutical development, particularly lyophilization and potent compound handling. Most recently, he served as Manager of Pharmaceutical Development at Summit Biosciences contributing to formulation, analytical and process development of nasal spray products. Prior experience includes tenures at SiO2 Medical Products, Brookwood Pharmaceuticals and Bausch and Lomb. Dr. Raiche holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, all from the University of Kentucky.

Coldstream Laboratories, Inc., based in Lexington, KY, is a privately held specialty pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organization. Coldstream operates Kentucky's only parenteral manufacturing facility.
