I’ve been getting your emails for months already, Fierce 15 fans, asking when the nominations will open. Well, I’m here to tell you: It’s time.
Fierce Biotech is once again seeking your nominations for the best, most exciting and innovative private biotechs. You know the drill: Give us your best and brightest. Tell us about the coolest science, the companies spurring the most buzz, the next Modernas or those destined to be blockbuster Big Pharma acquirees.
Last year, we had to make a detour to allow newly public companies due to the hot IPO market, but with that pathway cooling, we're back to private this year.
We’re accepting nominations across all therapeutic areas and modalities. But what we’d really like to see is some diversity of leadership this year. For some inspiration, check out the class of 2021.
The small print: Companies must be private and thus not have gone through an IPO. They must be precommercial, can be preclinical or clinical and can be anywhere from stealth to as high as a series E (or Z) funding round.
There is no confirmation email about your nomination, but, rest assured, we see them all, read them all and consider each carefully. You can send your nominees until Friday, July 15, when the nominations close. Winners will be contacted directly and will be announced on the Fierce Biotech site in early fall.
