Aerie Pharmaceuticals Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

BEDMINSTER, N.J. & RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. & NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--()--Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc., announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,720,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $10.00 per share, before underwriting discounts. The shares are scheduled to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on October 25, 2013 under the ticker symbol "AERI." In addition, Aerie has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,008,000 shares of common stock at the same price to cover over-allotments, if any.

The offering is expected to close on October 30, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.
