AAIPharma sells drug unit for $75M

Wilmington, NC-based AAIPharma has sold its drug division to Chicago-based private equity firm Water Street Healthcare Partners for $75 million. The new company is now named AAIPharma Services Corp. and will remain in Wilmington. AAIPharma says none of the division's 450 jobs have been cut as a result of the sale. Release
