Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has launched its 125 kHz compact mid-range reader. It is ideal for a wide range of applications such as access control systems, parking systems and outdoor applications.
This compact mid-range reader, model 211006, reads transponders compatible with EM4001/EM4002. It offers a typical read range of up to 30 cm with ISO cards and provides a high baud rate of 9600 bps. It provides multiple interfaces including Wiegand, magnetic stripe and RS-232 serial ASCII output making it easy to enable RFID as an upgrade to existing installations. The RFID reader runs on any DC regulated voltage from 5 to 12.5V DC retaining a good read range at even 5 volts. It also features 64 bit Manchester coding. In addition, this reader has passed CE and FCC certification. It is encapsulated with an ABS case and is weather resistant allowing it to perform well even in harsh environments.
