Chiding the biotech for overreaching on price, failing to get its marketing ducks in a row ahead of an approval and fumbling its outreach to physicians, Timmerman adds that Dendreon's ($DNDN) failure is limited to a single company, with more experienced players like Vertex (Incivek) and Bristol-Myers Squibb (Yervoy) finding success with their new drugs. Of course, their success also begs the question whether Dendreon had fully explained all the reasons for Provenge's sudden disappointment. And today, on another bad day on Wall Street, Dendreon's battered shared slid another 11 percent. Column
