Vernalis to raise 24M pounds
The UK's Vernalis says that it intends to raise 24 million pounds sterling to help advance its own programs and possibly buy up some distressed biotech assets. Vernalis will issue more than 800 million new shares. Vernalis was forced to restructure after its lead drug failed to win FDA approval in 2007. Report
