Transport Pharma adds $12.6M in fourth round

Transport Pharmaceuticals has added $12.6 million to its fourth round of financing, bringing its total to $29.6 million. Transport has offices in Philadelphia and Framingham, MA. Transport specializes in developing new therapies for dermatological conditions. Quaker BioVentures of Philadelphia led the round with The Carlyle Group. To date, Transport has garnered $35.6 million in venture funds.
