TheStreet picks top 10 key events looming for biotech

Adam Feuerstein, the irreverent biotech analyst at TheStreet, has identified 10 key upcoming events he says will play a leading role in determining how well biotech stocks perform as we move from a cold winter to spring.

Among his top picks for market moving events: Data on Avastin for colon cancer, which is likely to dictate the fate of Roche's $42 billion bid for total control of Genentech; Phase III data on Dendreon's Provenge and late-stage data on Arena Pharmaceuticals' obesity program. In addition there could be big news for MS, diabetes and hep C.

Feuerstein isn't actually predicting outcomes here. As he notes, biotech is Sanskrit for "high-risk of failure."
