Termeer counsels patience on Sanofi bid

Speaking to a Chamber group in Boston yesterday Genzyme's Henri Termeer (photo) made it clear that he's going to sit tight until he can hammer out an acceptable offer for the company. "It took us 30 years to get to where we are,'' Termeer said, according to a report in the Globe. "So it will take some time to understand the next step, to understand the dynamics and the value.'' Termeer also had some kind words about the innovative business community in the Boston area. "This area [Boston] is the mecca of discovery, and it will be that way forever,'' said the CEO. Report
