Strong India biopharma industry triggers pay hikes
With biopharma booming in India, companies say they're paying U.S. rates for top talent, with plenty of added bonuses on flexible working schedules and travel to and from the U.S. Suven Life Sciences says that their R&D payroll has rocketed up 87 percent in the past year as the company competes for top scientific talent. The most competitive salaries are going to the research chiefs.
