StemCells licenses IRES tech to Big Pharma

StemCells says that a "major international pharmaceutical company" has licensed the company's Ribosome Entry Site (IRES) technology. IRES technology helps researchers evaluate the success of gene knock-outs or knock-ins in stem cells, as well as the successful creation of transgenic mouse and rat disease models.
