SPOTLIGHT: Pfizer plans big expansion for Exubera

Indiana has scored big with Pfizer's plans to expand its facilities in Terre Haute to manufacture its newly approved inhaled insulin, Exubera. If all goes according to plan, Pfizer plans to hire 450 new workers over three years and invest $170 million to support the work. The state has put up an impressive $18.4 million in incentives--including $8.5 million in tax credits--for the project and wins bragging rights to a major new life sciences project. Report
