.Nicox inks pact for new trial
France's NicOx has signed a deal for PRA International, a contract research organization, to launch a Phase III trial of its lead candidate for osteoarthritis. NicOx decided to start Phase III after discussions with the FDA. NicOx believes that HCT 3012 can be used as a substitute for patients with hypertension that had used Cox-2 inhibitors and NSAIDS.
