SPOTLIGHT: ISTA touts Phase III data for Vitrase
ISTA Pharmaceuticals is touting the pooled data from two Phase III trials of Vitrase for treating vitreous hemorrhage at the back of the eye. The pooled results showed a reduction of vitreous hemorrhage density as early as one month that persisted through three months following a single intravitreous injection of Vitrase compared to a placebo injection of a saline solution. The treatment is intended to allow physicians to see the cause of the hemorrhage and treat it appropriately. Release
