SkyePharma to develop new form of Sular

SkyePharma has pocketed a million dollars and stands to earn another $4 million in milestone payments for the successful development of a new, controlled-release form of the anti-hypertensive Sular from First Horizon. Researchers are looking for an improvement in pharmacokinetics along with an expanded market for the new and improved form of Sular. Sular earned $145 million last year.
