Sanofi inks $360M in cancer pact
Sanofi-Aventis has agreed to pay up to $360 million in up front and milestone payments for most of the global rights to Taiho's S-1 cancer therapy. S-1 is already approved for marketing in Japan for a variety of conditions that includes colorectal, head and neck cancer and is in Phase III for Europe and the United States. Sanofi will also pay royalties on any future sales.
